Hello, my name is Gracie Whitbeck and I'm from Louisville Kentucky! I'm a current senior at Grand Canyon University studying Christian ministry with a minor in behavioral health sciences. I am passionate about understanding how counseling and psychology can help bring people to Christ through caring for someone both spiritually and emotionally. In my free time I enjoy reading, hiking, running, playing soccer, and hanging out with close friends.
The Alliance for Transatlantic Theological Training (AT3) is an organization that partners with local churches in the United Kingdom to raise up church leaders and support the local church in Europe in a post Christian society. While in the United Kingdom I will be placed in and mentored by a local church, and I will be fulfilling jobs specific to one of five track options (children and youth, preaching/teaching, worship, evangelism, and biblical counseling). In the United Kingdom only 5% of people attend church. I want to be a part of sharing the gospel to those who are searching for hope. There is now a whole generation of people who don't know Jesus and the joy they can have in him. I hope to share the gospel with them and have the opportunity to see the church in a different cultural context to learn how to minister to a post Christian society
